Lamas de Mouro Right in the middle of the Peneda-Gerês National Park (PGNP), Lamas de Mouro is a unique village in what concerns the municipality’s natural and edified heritage. Inaugurated in 2004, the Lamas de Mouro Door is, besides the entrance to the PGNP, a place where visitors will find information and orientation for discovering the multiple trails, activities and landscapes that make up this protected area. With a Reception Centre, an Auditorium and Thematic Workshop, it also has an extensive leisure and recreation area with several public spaces. The old Forest Ranger's Post has been transformed into a cafeteria (with esplanade), a game room and a bathhouse. In this area you’ll also find the Lamas de Mouro Camping Park. |
